Description

  Elvis Costello Introduces Almost Blue                  Rare 1981 F-Beat Promotional Vinyl LP, Catalogue number E.C. Chat 1.           The front of the plain white cover has a white sheet pasted upon it. This has a drawing of the band by Bruce Thomas and a copy number. Each artist's name is stamped in various colours. Steve Nieve's name is misspelt Neive. All four have signed the cover. The rear cover has the track list and times printed in black on blue paper. Each track is preceded by a short spoken intro by Elvis. The release date was October 1981. I have owned this album from new and have played it twice. Consequently the record and labels look like new. It plays superbly, with just a very occasional light pop. It has been stored away carefully for 30 plus years. The pasted on sheets are near perfect. The cover has just a small corner bump at the top right hand corner.
