The Programme was devoted almost exclusively to works utilising modern techniques of recording and sound reproduction and which would be inconceivable without the special apparatus of a broadcasting or electronic-music studio (Swedish Br.Corp.Electronic Music Studio , Stockholm,EMS) and the great majority of works were composed specially for the occasion.
