Electronic Music From the Outside In (Folkways Records FPX 6050, 1980)
This is a special 2 disc box set of vintage electronic avant-garde music. Artists are Barton McLean, Priscilla McLean, Kevin Hanlon & Reed Holmes. Included is a small brochure packed with information about the pieces, including extensive pictures of the artists and their equipment (featuring miles of wire!). There is a bibliography here plus a couple of pages about electronic music terms. The white paper has darkened a bit (looks old) but is still in near mint shape. The Cover is VG (some buff marks along the edge of the box, but the hinge is intact). The records are near mint. This is a classic set that is no longer available on LP.
Any record that has titles like 'Heavy Music for Four Crowbars' has got to be special!
