Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Elbow – Asleep in the back – RARE Double Vinyl LP album from 2001.

This is the original double Vinyl LP released by V2 records.

Vinyl Condition: VG (The records are in nice condition. There are some light surface scuffs and a few light scratches in places but overall nice condition. On the first track on side c there are some slight pressing marks in the vinyl grooves which cause a few audible “scratchy” sounds. It plays through fine but as I say there are a few fairly loud scratchy sounds which are audible but don’t last long. Nothing terrible but I always mention everything. I have owned a few copies of this album on vinyl and all have had the same pressing issues so don’t let this put you off as it does play and sounds very well indeed. Other copies will probably have the same issue and this won’t be mentioned or noticed by some other sellers. There is some light crackle in places and the odd pop/tick and some crackle at the end of side 2 but overall nice playback and a great album).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inners).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Sleeve has corner and edge wear. Corners are all pretty worn with some light fraying. Edges and spine has wear and scuffs and there is quite a lot of edge creasing. Overall sleeve is looking a bit worn around the edges but is ok).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
