EDWIN STARR TIME/RUNNING BACK AND FORTH 7" SINGLE - 1970 VERY RARE DEMONSTRATION RECORD WITH SLEEVE


 A very rare Tamla Motown demonstration single of Edwin Starr - Time c/w Running Back and Forth.    I've no means of trying the record as I haven't owned a turntable for years.  It looks well-played and has some surface scratches and three marks on the A-side (see photograph).  These present no obvious resistance on a gentle finger-touch, but I obviously can't guarantee that they won't affect playability.  The starting price for this auction would have been considerably higher otherwise, so there is still an opportunity to obtain a rare record at a knock-down price. The record is in the Bell Records paper sleeve it came with which is complete, and is in decent condition.  The artist's name is written on the inside of the sleeve and the record title on the top of the outside and the original owner's name is written on the record label - commonplace for the time when records were taken from place to place and loaned to friends.
