"All Star Interviews" Radio Show Transcription Disc Recorded by Universal Recording company , New York. One complete radio program on this 16 inch, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm disc

The show is introduced as "All Star Interviews Brought To You By American Radio Newsreel".  This is very interesting program where a pair of reporters go to various places in New York City during an evening to perform interviews and give reports.   “Like a trip to New York, only better”.  The interviews are conducted by reporter Mike Blair with Walter Kinsella

The reporters visit different locations: First, the reporter interviews former Russian premiere Alexander Kerensky who speaks about the European situation, the Russian invasion of Poland, Stalin’s policies and whether Russia could overtake Nazi Germany.  A very interesting interview given the situation in Europe at the time. Alexander Kerensky was the Premiere of Russia and went into exile after Vladmir Lenin took control after the Bolshevik Revolution.  The interview is conducted from the home of New York Republican Chairman Kenneth F. Simpson at 109 E 91st Street, New York

Next, the reporter visits pier 59 where the U. S. Luxury Liner Manhattan arriving from France filled with 1,500 Americans fleeing the war cloud of Europe.   Three of the passengers are actresses Norma Shearer, Elsa Maxwell & Grace Moore “three of the most famous women in the world” who are interviewed.  They mention the journey which included minefields and submarines, the ladies mention how happy they are to be back

Next, the reporters visit Leon & Eddie’s Nightclub “The Most Famous Nightclub In The World” and have a very short visit with Ray Bolger and Patsy Kelly

Next, the reporters visit Madison Square Garden where Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia and Governor Herbert Lehman are interviewed

Program time is 15 minutes.  The same 15 minute radio program is recorded on both sides of the disc
