Frank Luther and his Pards
Electric Edison Diamond Disc 52453
This one was recorded on Nov. 22, 1928. The "Pards" are Carson Robison, guitar, and Eugene Jaudas, violin. The disc is in good condition. There are a few light scuffs, fairly typical of a 90 year old record. No scratches or anything that appear to possibly impact the play. - The label is worn and creased from being stored for 50+ years. I could fix it, but I have decided to leave it up to the new owner.
I bought an Edison player 30+years ago at an auction. I was just in middle school then and it cost me two years of lawn mowing to repay the loan my parents issued.
I grew up and left home but the player stayed behind. It came with a few records and until two weeks ago, I'd never even touched the box. I had the player restored back then, but it has been sitting for years. ....I say this because my player needs to be serviced and cannot in good conscience test these records until I know they won't suffer additional damage.
I am not a dealer or collector, and am NOT qualified to rate the quality of these discs.. so Please look at all photos.
