Description

An original 1st issue of Eagles Live on the custom Asylum labels from 1980 [Not the earliest 1st press], from whilst charting. Matrix A2/B2/C2/D2. Etching 'Strawberry' . No other etchings.  Also please note the 1st issues were pressed heavy and that is going to make all the difference! The vinyl comes housed in an original cover 'printed in England' - NO embossing. Also included are both bespoke inner sleeves and the poster all of which appear to be higher grade print quality than later issues. The inner sleeves, particularly, seem to be made of stiffer card/paper. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Very difficult to find fault at all....it's a clean player across four sides! Interference is practically non-existent. I couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots, and just a couple of brief ticks in 'All night Long'. Across four sides - that is a great strike rate!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In great shape and has clearly had a careful owner. Lovely shiny front and back with barely a crease or mark visible. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is light and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is almost perfect with all text legible. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. Very difficult to imagine improving upon this..
Inners (Ex+) No faults. No splits.
Poster (Ex+) Faultless. Has never seen a wall!
