EXTREM/MICKEYMAN - 'PUNK MEETS REGGAE' SPLIT LP - REBEL RECORDS - 1983
Impossible to find - I'm not sure on the exact press run of this split 12" - 100 copies - 200 copies?? The stars here, and the band that will interest you the most, are Extrem. I obtained this mailorder copy directly from the band while doing trades in '83. Extrem, who ended up getting some much needed exposure from Pushead via his 'Cleanse' LP, play some balls-out HC - Extrem? Yes indeed! The Extrem side of this split plays at 33rpm. The flipside, by Mickeyman, consists of some fairly engaging dub reggae - not really my scene - but it's kinda cool - jah mon. This side of the disk plays at 45rpm. The condition - this mailorder copy came with some perks - the band tossed in some B&W photos that have a postcard type of feel to them, there is also a sticker, and some sort of plastic thingy of which I'm not sure about - used to make more stickers? These items are all in perfect shape. The Crass-styled foldout poster cover has a few minor crumples and a couple of very small punch-like spots - not holes - on the very front cover - I have no idea where these came from - probably intransit. Otherwise - the cover looks to be in near excellant condition. The record itself - the disk has a minor warp - this is how it arrived in my postbox. The warp is only noticable when the record is spinning on the turntable - and again - it is slight. The Extrem side - at 33rpm - plays fine - it rocks. This small warp does not affect the sound. Actually, the disk itself is near mint - except for this slight warp. The Mickeyman side, at 45rpm - the warp is a bit more noticable - but does NOT 'jump' on my fine turntable - I do hear a small 'bumping' sound that coincides with the warp, but only for the first 1-2 minutes of this side. I have NO idea how this side of the disk will react on YOUR turntable - so this flaw MUST be taken into account when/if you bid! Overall - a pretty fine copy of an impossible to find item - plus all the added extras - there may be an Extrem gig flyer hiding somewhere around here as well. I'll have to start digging for that. You start digging in your pockets! If there are questions - do not hesitate in contacting THEE MADMAN - ARRGH!

I will not send surface/economy overseas and, unfortunately, I cannot insure o/s packages - but I can send REGISTERED for an addtional $7.50. Again - highly recommended for BIG BUCK purchases. If an o/s package arrives damaged, return it to me and there will be an immediate refund. If you do NOT pay the additional money to have your purchase sent REGISTERED, I will have no way to track the package. So, I will NOT be held responsible for UNREGISTERED packages that do not reach their intended destination!!!
