     This man influenced The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Blues Brothers and The Kinks....If you want a dose of the real stuff (BLUES)...."Raining In My Heart" is it. Although Slim Harpo wasn't widely acclaimed as a singer, songwriter or musician by the public, other musicians were certainly aware of him. For a number of reasons, it's virtually impossible to properly document all of Slim "James Moore" Harpo's hits, this is truly one of the best ever released. Eventhough he died in 1970, this Blues Masters music will always be around.

Raw, soulful, wailing, crying blues. Absolutely brilliant.

CONDITION:
VINYL (play- & visually graded):  Hard to grade, because it sounds so much better than I have ever heard SLIM HARPO sound. Heavy duty pressing, rich musical depth.
Having said that, VG(+), with lots of glossy vinyl, very little or no distortion, great sound that I would grade at least VG+. Better. Fine sounding historical piece.
Labels have light spindle marks, some wear to one side of hole paper.
COVER: VG(+), some ring wear, seams in good shape, no splits yet, but they are thin, colors vivid, more orangey than in the photo, stiff cardboard; the back has light rw, minor discoloration, very light wear, brighter white than in photo. Corners are good, only light wear, no big bruises. No stickers, no writing.     THE RECORD HAS BEEN CLEANED with a NITTY GRITTY record cleaning machine.
It is in a new, non-static, high-density plastic inner sleeve; the cover is protected with a clear plastic outer sleeve.
Please SEE NOTE AT BOTTOM regarding INNER SLEEVES.

    PROFESSIONAL PACKAGING: Record is removed from cover, inserted into the custom-made plastic outer sleeve along with the cover, then nestled in a protective two-layer bed of bubble wrap. Then it goes into a secure, crush-resistant new box. No split seams or mashed corners. (In the case of sealed records, we will not open them unless asked.)
