ETTA JAMES Rocks the House ARGO 4032 STEREO RARE

Argo Records catalog number LP-4032, a stereo pressing of one of the greatest live LPs ever pressed to vinyl, Etta James Rocks the House. Recorded in September '63 in Nashville with a fantastic band featuring David T. Walker on guitar but everybody plays their rear ends off trying to keep up with Etta. Additionally the front cover has to be one of the best ever; Etta with her wrist wrapped with an Ace bandage with an expression that asks which heckler is going to be the next one she'll have to deck. Rare stereo pressing with blue Argo label, deep groove. Does not have original inner sleeve. Cover is VG+ with some ringwear, inch-long split bottom and a name in Sharpie back cover. Vinyl is straight, glossy, with wear that is visible and audible in some places. I rate it VG for sure and Etta sings so loud I'm tempted to list it as VG+--the pops and clicks rarely have a chance against this powerhouse singer in her prime. Cleaned on a VPI machine.
