You are bidding on a one of a kind, original ACETATE LP by
ESQUERITA (Eskew Reeder)
Original One-Of-A-Kind 2-Sided Acetate from June 23, 1966. These songs are: AIN'T GETTIN' NOTHIN', ON BROADWAY, NOBODY KNOWS YA WHEN YOU'RE DOWN, LEAVE ME ALONE, and SINNER MAN. There is no more information written on the paper sleeve. Because of an auction in 2008 that we found online for a different acetate made on the same date (6/26/66), it can be assumed that these, too, are "one-take, unmixed songs--raw, live, and spontaneous. There's a lot of energy in these songs, and it's a shame the companion disc was not kept with this one." (THIS IS PROBABLY THE COMPANION DISC WE THOUGHT WAS LOST TO THE WORLD!) " It was probably a reference Demo for a possible album that never was. This stuff is good enough for the next BEAR FAMILY CD Compilation."
There are a few light scuffs and superficial surface marks on the recording, but not much. It looks nice and glossy. There is some kind of stain on side B, along with a few more superficial surface marks. Since this is literally the only one of these that exists, and because it is an acetate, we have not played it. Overall, for an Acetate, it seems to be in very nice shape.
