Description
ESQUERITA (Eskew Reeder): Original One-Of-A-Kind 1-Sided Acetate from June 23, 1966. These songs are: SINNER MAN, NOTHING UNLESS I GOT SOMETHING FOR ME, C.C. RIDER, JUST LEAVE ME ALONE, and a real Soul Rocker, LETTER FULL OF TEARS. There is no more information written on the paper sleeve. The label is marked B, implying that there was probably an A side to this, long lost to the world. These are one-take, unmixed songs--raw, live, and spontaneous. There's a lot of energy in these songs, and it's a shame the companion disc was not kept with this one. It was probably a reference Demo for a possible album that never was. This stuff is good enough for the next BEAR FAMILY CD Compilation. There are light scuffs on the recording, but not much. It looks nice, glossy, and solidly VG+/VG++. LETTER received more play than the other songs. It plays a solid VG+ and Better. The other 4 songs play VG++. Overall, for an Acetate, it's in very, very nice shape. You won't be disappointed in this Gem. I can take PAYPAL. I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for 4.50, or Airmail for around $10 (packed solidly, of course). Insurance is optional. If this sells to a non-US Buyer, REGISTERED MAIL will be required. This will also require extra cardboard, extra packing, and extra postage so that it can't get broken.
