Original German Double-LP from 1972 on MPS/BASF, 29 21356-0, first press with red labels. Laminated gatefold-cover, liner-notes inside in German & English by André Heller. Recorded and produced by the ORF ( = Austrian Radio Corporation). Recorded live in concert at Amerika-Haus Vienna in January, March, September & October 1971. Fine European spiritual-, deep- and modern hardbop-jazz with a modal edge performed by an amazing line-up. Tight drumming by E.Bachträgl plus nice percussion-work by F.Ozmec, all soloists have lots of space to stretch out. Fritz Pauer is on Electric Piano on 6 of the 8 tracks, including one track from the first SUNBIRDS LP wich was also released in 1971 on BASF.

Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint-- to ex++ under a very strong halogen lamp. All four sides play in mint- all of the time with one exception: there are 4 tics at the beginning of side 4 behind the quiet intro, if you look with a looking-glass under strong halogen you can see a very very tiny pressing-pimple in this spot.

The gatefold-cover shows just slight shelfwear, all seams/spine are intact without any rub, there's slight cornerwear on the right side, there are 2 moderate creases parallel to the opening on the back, the lamination is completely intact, front/back & inner are absolutely fine; overall ex to ex-.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- bis ex++ aus. Alle vier Seiten spielen durchgehend in mint- , mit einer Ausnahme: zu Beginn der 4.Seite sind hinter dem Intro 4 leise Tics zu hören, wenn man mit einer Lupe bei Halogenlicht schaut sieht man einen winzigsten Press-Pickel an dieser Stelle.

Das Klappcover hat nur leichte Lagerspuren, alle Kanten sind intakt und ohne Abrieb, auf den rechten Seiten gibt es leichte Gebrauchsspuren an den Ecken, parallel zum Einschub sind auf der Rückseite 2 leichte Falten, die Laminierung ist ganzheitlich intakt, Vorder-/Rückseite und Inneres sind sehr schön erhalten; insgesamt in ex bis ex- .

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
