Description
This is an extremely rare MONO pressing of the exceptional OUT THERE LP by ERIC DOLPHY on New Jazz Records (NJLP 8252, Mono, "RVG" stampers on A- and B-side run out grooves) from 1961. An absolutely essential bop/free jazz/modal jazz record from this legendary artist. The vinyl is in VG/VG- condition with lots of light surface marks and wear and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but a perfectly enjoyable copy without skips or loud pops and only enough gentle crackle to give it that "old jazz record" vibe. The original record cover is NOT included. Instead, the record comes in a plain white sleeve, as pictured. This is not a record that comes along very often...don't pass this one up!
