Description
Emily: same 1972, France/EMI-Pathe 2C064-11896. Disc looks EX with just light hairlines, but as you know French pressings are not the best, I would say the play grade should be VG+. Laminated gatefold cover has light overall wear, a small split at the top of the spine, this is VG+. Very rare LP apparently put together as a vanity project of some sort, sounds like an American girl doing the vocals (certainly no French accent) with studio pros backing her on a variety of styles from folk to rural rock, some with orchestration. On the track "Song For Steven" it sounds like she's being backed by "Jug Of Love" era Mighty Baby. This might be a stretch to some, but I think she comes across as a female Donovan. Very mysterious cover has lots of pics of her in Victorian garb. Only copy I've ever seen of this one!
