Description
Legendary performance by Emil Gilels of the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto, beautifully accompanied by the Chicago Symphony conducted by Fritz Reiner. Wonderful sounding tape of an otherwise excellent performance that's had a rather spotty history of poor sounding issues in other formats. Box and tape are in excellent condition for their age: Box has minor age-related smudging, a sticker and some sticker residue, a small split seam, and some writing on the inside of the box (timings and old prices); the reel looks perfect. The tape, which is stored TAILS OUT on the reel, plays beautifully on my Revox B-77 deck. Overall an excellent copy of this rarity. Packing, USPS FIRST CLASS shipping and insurance are a flat $5 to domestic U.S. destinations. Priority mailing on request. International destinations will cost more.
