I am listing 16 records tonight. They are all from the same estate and I do not believe they have been offered for sale or auction before. I am listing records that are all hopefully interesting to audiophiles and lovers of classical music, I could not find a few online so some may be rare. I have done my best to describe them and have spent the last three days preparing the auctions. I have not cleaned any of them so they may need a gentle dust off before playing. I have examined each wearing gloves and under bright light - when I had to I would play and listen to either a whole album or parts with a clean needle. I have included many images of each lot but if you have any questions or requests please just let me know. I will do what I can on my end to answer any questions. I can combine to some extent with shipping but I will want to pack them well. I understand that with records condition is everything so I will do everything I can to assure that they arrive as they are now. I will be able to send them out three to four days after the auctions end. If I can I will send them sooner but most likely it will be 4 days after. They will be sent with tracking and insurance and well packed. Thank you and good luck bidding!
Album Title - Rimsky - Korsakov Scheherazade Royal Philarmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham Bart., C.H. (Solo Violin: Steven Staryk) Maker and id - E.M.I. Records Limited (controlled by Electric & Musical Industries Limited) Hayes Middlesex England - Made and Printed in Great Britain / EMI Stereophonic Recording / ASD 251 (ASD251) Matrix #'s - side 1 - 2yea 5-10 side 2 - 2yea 6-10 Cover Condition - Bright and clean with lighter signs of handling and wear. Tips have some light rubbing, left side has a few tiny dimples which are minor. Right side record entry has light dustiness at edge where laminate ends - again this looks minor. Rear has tiny blue pencil initials of PH at extreme upper left corner. Light edge wear and at edges of flaps there is light soil which looks like dust pick-up from possible flap glue overlap - this may be cleanable and I believe is minor. Covers have a glossy appearance. Inner Sleeve - clean original sleeve. Record Condition - Sharp bright and clean - both sides look great - sound great. Maybe one or two signs of putting record in sleeve? Some slight surface sound but I think strictly from dust? Record looks very sharp and I believe would be graded as Near Mint. notes - Notes by Pigeon Crowle and front graphic is by Richard Buckle.
