The release of a new album is always an important event for a club.
For the macon jazz club , it s the accomplishment of a 10 year existance and also the opportunity to conserve an important musical heritage,in fact, there are no existing records, other than those produced by the jazz macon club uniting two great musicians such as George lewis and Emanuel Paul (a historial note; this is the last recording by george lewis)
Chance and luck , along with the friendship and complicity created and chared with the musicians,helped organizthe jazz club concerts .Last but not least ,all was made possible through the sincerity and dynamism of the jazz club.
An anniversary is the time to reflect on the past.Glancing at the calendar of ten seasons of jazz club regulary punctuated with events in the macconais region abundant not only in emotions but also in anecdotes
The time we welcomed sammy rimington, the various jazz parade, sam lee champion jack dupré, sing miller, the preservation with kid thomas, paul, sayles,and all the others, will remain unforgettable in the life of the city.
