Description
On Sun recording 217, here is Elvis Presley. Recorded in February and March of 1955, it was released in April, 1955. There are scuffs and rubbing on the record, but no outstanding scratches. One small scratch near the edge, but I played both sides, and can hear NO ticks or skipping. The original owner, however, wrote her name and address on both sides of the label in ink. I don't know if this can be removed. Etched in the dead wax area is U-142 72 and on the other side, U-143-2 72. The record needs a good cleaning, but I don't have the equipment or knowledge to do that, so I will leave it to the new owner. It is in an old Decca paper sleeve. Please ask any questions you may have, as I am not a collector, and may have left out some information you need. Good luck in bidding.
