ELVIS PRESLEY – ROUSTABOUT (LPM-2999) RARE SILVER TOP “MONO”, EXCLUSIVE HOLLYWOOD PRESSING from 1964!

 

RECORD: VG with many very light scratches and scuffs on the glossy vinyl. This record was tested in its entirety and there were no skips or repeats but there were some random “ticks” and minor surface noise detected during play. These “Silver Top” MONO and STEREO pressings of “Roustabout” were exclusive to the Hollywood pressing plant and are very scarce. “White Top” Rockaway and Indianapolis pressings are truly First Pressings, but Hollywood “White Tops” are reissues! The “MONO” labels on this record are clean and without any writing or stickers. The Side 2 label shows some noticeable spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1964. The matrix numbers on this record end with 3S/12S.

COVER: VG+ with some lower and upper edge splitting (please see all photos) as well as some very light ring wear. There are also a few corner bumps and bends. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) inner sleeve is included.
