THIS HARD TO FIND, AND RARE COLLECTABLE 78 BY ELVIS WAS RELEASED IN 1955. WHEN RCA BOUGHT THE RIGHTS TO RECORD ELVIS FROM THE SUN RECORD COMPANY THEY IMMEDIATLEY RE-ISSUED ALL 5 OF THE 78'S THAT ELVIS RECORDED ON THE SUN LABEL, AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM. IT WAS ON SUN # 217 AND THE BOOK VALUE WAS $2000 - $3000. THIS ONE IS ON THE ORIGINAL CANADIAN RCA VICTOR LABEL # 20-6383 AND SONGS ARE: BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE & I'M LEFT, YOUR RIGHT, SHE'S GONE. THIS 55 YEAR OLD 78rpm RECORD SYILL SHOWS PLENTY OF GLOSS AND SHINE, AND IT PLAYS WITH GREAT SOUND ALL THE WAY THROUGH ON BOTH SIDES.THIS ONE WILL MAKE A FINE ADDITION TO THAT ELVIS COLLECTION, AND ONE THAT YOU WILL BE PROUD TO OWN AND TO PLAY. IT GRADES AS A VG+ AT LEAST. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
