ELVIS PRESLEY – KISSIN’ COUSINS (LSP-2894) RARE “NO FILM CAST” COVER IN FULL ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
RECORD: NM Indianapolis pressing with beautiful, glossy surfaces! This Second Pressing sports the updated White Top “RCA Victor” logo on the NM labels. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in March of 1964 with the Silver Top labels and includes the hit single, “Kissin’ Cousins”. The matrix numbers on this record end with 5S/7S.
COVER: NM- with full original shrink wrap! This is the rare cover variety that omits the black and white film cast photo to the lower right corner. These are highly sought after by collectors due to the rarity, especially in full shrink wrap such as this example! The reasons for the “minus” in the grade is due to a small amount of wear to the lower right corner tip as well as a name that is written in blue ball-point pen along the open end edge on the front (please see all photos). The original Kmart price sticker of $3.47 remains fully affixed on the front as well as a white sticker which simply states “2-19 Stereo” to the upper left corner along with a yellow “KNOX” sticker that is randomly placed on the front. All stickers are affixed to the shrink wrap and not on the cover directly! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) is included.
