ELVIS PRESLEY –  FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS (LSP-4155) FIRST PRESSING IN SHRINK WITH SHRINK STICKER AND BONUS PHOTO!

RECORD:  VG+ (Net) with the appearance of being a Near Mint record with clean, glossy surfaces! While being test-played, one scratch was revealed that resulted in one quick skip on Side 2, Track 1 (“Power of My Love”). The remainder of the tracks play beautifully on this First Pressing from the Rockaway pressing plant. The labels are clean and original, showing just a couple of light spindle marks on the Side 2 label. This album was released in June of 1969 and includes the hit single, “In The Ghetto / Any Day Now”, which was a million-seller for “The King”. The matrix numbers on this record end with 4S/7S.

COVER:  VG++ (EXC) with full original shrink wrap! The reason that this cover does not grade full NM is due to a diagonal impression to the upper right corner. It is believed to be a designation for albums meant for discount sale. The price sticker of just $1.97 is also a clue to that statement. This impression is definitely not as aesthetically displeasing as a saw cut or clipped corner by any means! The Shrink Sticker remains as clean and attractive as it did in 1969! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40D) inner sleeve is included.

BONUS PHOTO: NM- with sharp corners and no bends or creases. However, there appears to be a light finger smudge on the back side to the central upper portion; very minor. Overall, a beautiful photo!

GOOD LUCK!
