Description
Rare original New Zealand pressing E-Z Country Programming No. 2 LP ( HMV MCLP 6001 ) from 1955 of major interest to collectors because two tracks featured are "Mystery Train" and "I Forgot To Mention To Forget" by Elvis Presley. This represents exceptionally an early Elvis release anywhere in the world - as the liner notes breathlessly inform us " it is the expressed aim of His Masters Voice (NZ) Ltd to give the listening public throughout the Dominion what it wants of the latest musical recordings as soon as possible after they have been released overseas." Anyway, instant mega collectable! Flipback cover is solid VG+ to EX with light creasing and a light soiling on the back cover which could be easily removed. The beginning of a split in the spine ( as shown in the photo ) could be rendered almost invisible with sympathetic repair - no tears, other splits, marks, ringwear, writing or stickers. Vinyl is very high end VG to VG+ with significant very light surface scuffing ( from removal from the sleeve and handling, not abuse - there are no serious scratches or gouges ). Labels are clean and unblemished. Airmail postage and packing is GBP3.50 to Australia, GBP5 anywhere else. Please note that although I pack very well, I cannot be held responsible for any damage the postal services may be able to inflict on parcels once they leave my care. Everything else is guaranteed.
