ELVIS PRESLEY "ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM". RARE ITALIAN PRESSING. RCA LOC-1035.
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go … to make room for new acquisitions! Please check out my “other items” for more great stuff.
An extremely rare pressing of this great LP (at least it is rare in the UK) from Italy & I believe, a first pressing from 1958, of which I can only find one other for sale right now, at £160 & the last that sold on eBay went for £170 & was a later issue... The sleeve, very similar to the U.S edition, has a great front & back with some obvious age wear but very little. The spine however does have some break up parts on it. The labels look great with only minor spindle wear & the record itself has great sheen & shows some surface marks to side 1 but no deep scratches or marks. Side 2 looks much the same, perhaps a little more wear & two light scratches through the last 2 tracks. Tonal qualities are superb but does play with some background noise, more evident on quiet parts.
