I am currently listing most of my personal collection until all collectible records are sold. What does not sell will be later donated to charity as I am leaving the hobby after collecting for 48 years. I sincerely hope that all my prized records will go to the most avid collectors like I have been myself all these years and that they will be proudly owned and well-treated. A word about photos; some of the listings will show what may appear to be duplicate images. The reason for this is that some were taken with a flash and others without the flash, especially on LP covers with shrink wrap where there may be backflash.
ELVIS PRESLEY – DOUBLE TROUBLE (LSP-3787) FIRST PRESSING with SCARCE, REVISED COVER WITHOUT BONUS PHOTO ANNOUNCEMENT!
RECORD: VG+ with beautiful glossy surfaces! There are only a few very light scuffs seen under a bright light that do not result in any skips or repeats. This Indianapolis pressing tested beautifully upon full play! The labels are clean and fully original with only a few very light spindle marks noticed. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in June of 1967. The matrix numbers end with 1S/7S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes! Ring wear is present, though it is very light on both sides. There is some bending on the upper right corner (please see all photos) and there is some very minor edge wear. This is the scarce 1968 revised cover variant that omits the Bonus Photo announcement and a second “Double Trouble” is in its place in the lower film frame. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) inner sleeve is included.
BONUS PHOTO: NM and fully original with razor-sharp corners and edges! This photo is merely an “extra” with this album as by 1968, the photos had run out at the pressing plants and were not included with the revised cover copies.
GOOD LUCK!
First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that the item which they are viewing will be the actual item that they will receive. The other item that I am strongly opposed to is the use of A.I. generated “descriptions” for the items that I list. These A.I. descriptions are a wad of useless information that do not truly describe the specific item at hand and its condition! I strive to produce the most accurate description as possible.
All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.
Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! In recent years over-grading of records has grown to epidemic proportions; typically, whenever you purchase a record purported to be “NM”, it’s “Buyer Beware” unless you’ve had prior positive experience with whom you’re buying from and can trust their grading expertise. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
2025 marks 48 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
