Description

From a private collection here is a beautiful copy of Elvis Presley LPM 1254 on RCA Victor from 1956. The stampers are 6S/5S. 


Grading:

Vinyl:

Visual: VG++ closer to NM. Its a beauty. Under an inspection light at angle I see one tiny non-audible, non-feelable hairline on side one first song (Blue Suede Shoes) and one very tiny non-audible, non-feelable on side two Blue Moon. That's it,see pics for the beautiful original luster. Have never come across a beautiful copy like this in 25 years of vinyl. Some light spindle marks noted on the labels under a light at angle. Deep Groove Labels.

Playback: VG+ to be safe probably closer to VG++. Just some light lead in s/n and between songs. Once the songs hit it's on! Little bit s/n on just the quietest of song areas (Blue Moon). Also I did not sum to Mono and was playing in Stereo , thus my grading is conservative.

Art: VG++ looks great no splits. Lightest of wear on the outer cover (see pics). Note the inner sleeve is RCA Victor with no splits but some aging (see pic). The Vinyl will be shipped in a Mofi inner rice sleeve outside of the cover to avoid any splitting.
