Description

This is a very nice example of a truly rare album... it is 'ROCK AND ROLL', the first LP by the undisputed king of Rock 'N' Roll, ELVIS PRESLEY. It is an original 1st pressing on the elegant HMV label. Valued in the 2012 RARE RECORDS PRICE GUIDE at £500.00 (Mint).

The cover, being quite flimsy, is notoriously hard to find in better than poor condition. This one is, I'd say, in VG condition: main flaw being that someone has at some point affixed it to a wall (or suchlike) with drawing-pins. There are, therefore, small pin-holes in each corner. Otherwise, as you can see, it is in a very acceptable condition. Please study the photos.

The labels are clean and unblemished with minimal spindle-markings.

The vinyl still has plenty of sheen. There are some light 'paper' marks, due to removal/replacement to the inner and a few heavier marks which cause a few (but only a few!) 'clicks' here and there: but basically it sounds just great!
