Description

  • "Tumbleweed Connection" was the third studio album by Elton John and was released in 1970 on the MCA / Uni label. It achieved Platinum status and made Rolling Stone's list of Top 500 albums of all time.

  • This copy is from the first pressing and includes the original 12-page "Tumbleweed Connection" lyrics insert booklet. Both the vinyl and packaging are VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. The outer edges of the gatefold cover do show some minor shelf wear and the insert has a crease from folding in half as can be seen in the pictures.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
