Description
An original copy of the 13th Floor Elevators sophomore album 'Easter Everywhere' from 1967 on International Artists IA-LP-5. This is the version with fragile gold ink on the cover and correct "Postures" spelling on the back, as the band intended. This stereo version is the ultimate way to hear this great record, to many one of the finest ever made in any genre... Written, rehearsed, and recorded entirely under the influence of LSD, 'Easter Everywhere' has stood the test of time as perhaps the most legendary psychedelic music ever committed to wax. And since the tapes were either lost or destroyed by the '70s, no reissue even comes close to the beautiful sound of original pressings. If you like '60s psych/garage rock music, this is for you!
This copy has a bit of ringwear and some sticker residue on the cover, completely typical of most copies which still exist, but it still shines beautifully when you hold it, and makes you feel like you're holding an ancient relic... I have to put it at about the VG level. The disc plays nicely with light background noise between tracks and a few light non-distracting marks, also at about the VG grade. It includes the original distinctive IA white paper inner sleeve, included with the later copies of the 1st pressing after the limited lyric versions ran out. This is a great collectible player copy of this great record, certainly the band's best and, to some, the most essential record of the decade!
