Description

Duke Pearson "Profile" Blue Note mono 4022 LP pressing.  This record has never been played not even once.  It was sealed until last night when I purchased it along with a bunch of other jazz LPs.  I opened it as I just could not be sure it wasn’t a Liberty/UA pressing or such and at any rate needed deadwax  and label information to properly list it.  The record was so clean and perfect looking it was difficult to accept it was not a later reissue, so with some hesitation I opened it as to avoid listing it as a sealed original and having a problem later if it turned out to a Liberty/UA press or similar.  The vinyl is in Mint condition of course.  Never been touched by a needle.  Has some faint paper markings simply from being stored for 50 some years in sealed condition, but not a single hairline can be seen anywhere. I have looked under a bright light with a magnifying glass and this vinyl is clean as a baby’s ass.  Not a single hairline anywhere, aside from the light sporadic paper markings from storage, it is absolutely perfect.  The jacket has full glossy shrink still very snugly attached to cover, not loosened in any way.  One side of record has “RVG” etched into the deadwax the other side has “Van Gelder” etched into deadwax.  47 West 63rd Street address is on both labels which are immaculate – absolutely perfect in every way, flawless.  Nary a spindle mark anywhere and needless to say no writing either.  Deep groove mono Blue Note pressing with R on both sides.  I don’t believe it is possible that you will find a copy in better shape than this.  On the shrinkwrap on the front cover there is a small sticker partially torn off which be seen in the photo.  BNLP 4022 A-1 and BNLP 4022 B in deadwax as well.  $4 to ship media mail in US - $13 airmail to Canada - $20 airmail overseas.  Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I ship to France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia or any former Soviet Republics.  I will not ship to South America either.  I will gladly ship to Japan.  If shipping out of the United States, I will be sending registered mail and I will pick up any cost beyond the $20 charge, but that means someone will be needing to sign for the package when it arrives.  Paypal payment only…thanks!
