DUKE PEARSON--PROFILE--BLUE NOTE--DEEP GROOVE RVG EAR 47 WEST 63rd NYC
This is a Mono original pressing from 1960. It is, as noted, a Deep Groove Pressing, with the RVG initials and Ear in the dead wax, as well as the 47 West 63rd Street NYC printed on the label, so it is rare! Side One is in VG condition. There's some minor surface noise on this side (such as track one) and a scratch than can be felt on the third track, but nothing major. Still pretty clean and these imperfection don't get in the way of the listening experience. Side Two is Near Mint. It's almost as if the original owner didn't bother to play this side. I'll give the cover a VG. The original owner thought it was a clever idea to put narrow strips of black masking tape around the edges of cover. However, he did a neat job. Also, there is a red stamp and minor writing on the back, along with this warning: "Thiefs don't live long so don't take this album." All right!
