Description
What you're looking at: SUPA-rare. This album is VERY good -- pianist from my hometown; Atlanta! This LP has the works; it's a deep groove with 63rd street labels, Ears, and RVG pressed in the runout. The LP is in solid shape, but does have ticking in some areas. The cover is amazing with some corner dings and some edge wear, but not splits and a VERY high gloss.
As your attorney, I suggest you buy this album.
How it stacks up:
RECORD: VG (6.5 of 10) I would say it plays VG, but has some ticking here and there. Not a VG+, but it looks like one. There is some light scratching, but nothing horrible. The pictures are very descriptive.
SLEEVE: VG+ (7.5 of 10) No splits. Look at that gloss! There is some edgewear and some corner dings, but nothing splitting. Very solid cover.
NOTE: I'm happy to say that I can now vacuum clean ALL records that are sold!
MY GRADING SCALE:
OK, my goal is to be as specific as I can without being ridiculously wordy. I give one of these (from worst to best): G, G+, VG-, VG, VG+, VG++. That is it. No more letters, thus VG++ is a very good record. NM does NOT exist in my scale.
AFTER THE GENERAL GRADING SCALE, I have a second number in parenthesis, which is meant to be more specific. I find that a number is more specific than a general sector of opinion, thus the number will be between 1 and 10. This is meant to give you a more-specific idea of what you are getting into audio quality wise, the former is more for visual.
That being said, I play with a customized Thorens TD 165 through Polk Speakers and a Pioneer receiver. If I played the record, I will write so in the description; otherwise, I listen to small parts of the record for testing -- not the whole thing.
RETURNS: Generally returns are a no go, unless you have a compelling reason; also, I will give a TWO week grace period for exchanges (that means the buyer pays shipping back to me if they want a return). I give plenty of chances to see what you’re buying (audio clips, emails, two part grading system and a full policy description) and, as I see it, the buyer has as much responsibility as the seller to a) know what they are buying and b) have the decency to ask prior to purchase.
COMBINED SHIPPING: I charge a flat rate of $4 for one record, which covers postage, plastic sleeves, replacement inserts, shipping boxes, etc … After that, if you purchase more, it is $1 extra for each record domestically.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I now will ship overseas of whatever the quote is. so CHECK THE QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING!!
I really hope this answers all questions and concerns; however, if it doesn’t, EMAIL ME. Other than that, bid happily.
