Description
This is the original pressing of Donald Byrd “Byrd’s Eye View” on Transition TRLP 4. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster. Typical of Transition pressings, one of the labels is present but detached from the record. The frame laminated cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout – with just light rubbing (no splits) on the seams; two ¼” rubbed areas on the back and sun fading along the spine. Original glassine inner sleeve and 12-page booklet are included. Personnel include Hank Mobley, Joe Gordon, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey. $1000.00.
