Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Don Wilkerson “Elder Don” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4121.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster.  The laminated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; 1” bump at the lower left corner; the bottom seam has a 1/8” flake and ½” wear at the spine; the top seam has ½” wear at the spine and a 1” clean break at the center;  the back slick is stamped “Review Copy” at the top and has small marks next to the song titles.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Grant Green, Johnny Acea, Lloyd Trotman, and Willie Bobo.  $150.00
