Description

The New Don Rendell Quintet  - Roarin' - Original Jazzland LP - JLP51

As well as Don Rendell on tenor sax, the quintet featured GRAHAM BOND on alto sax, with John Burch (piano), Phil Kinorra (drums) and tony Archer (bass).

These recordings were made in London in 1961. Graham Bond was also a member of the John Burch Octet, together with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Dick Heckstall-Smith. The four subsequently became the Graham Bond Organisation.

This record is 50 years old and both the disc and laminated sleeve are in extremely good condition. As an original LP,  this is a rare and sought after item.

Track listings: Bring Back the Burch (written by Bond), Manumission (written by Burch), Blue Monk, Jeannine, The Haunt (written by Burch), So What, You Loomed out of Loch Ness (written by Rendell)

The record will be despatched in a stiffened cardboard mailer and comes from a smoke-free home.
