Description

Don Rendell Ian Carr Dusk Fire Columbia SX 6064 Original UK pressing with a black label with blue Columbia logo and a flip back cover. Side 1 is in near mint condition. Side 2 is EX due to a few pops at the end of the first track and beginning of the second track. There is also one pop toward the end of the third track. The cover is E+ due to light wear. Overall a beautiful copy of a very rare record! Rendell on tenor and soprano saxes, flute and clarinet, Ian Carr on trumpet and flugelhorn, Michael Garrick on piano, Dave Green on bass and Trevor Tompkin on drums. Tracks include; Ruth, Tan Samfu, Jubal, Spooks, Prayer, Hot Rod and Dusk Fire. This is probably my personal favorite album by this great group. Recorded in 1966.
