Description

This is the original mono Van Gelder-stamped “P”- pressing of Don Cherry “Complete Communion” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4226.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; the back slick has a small area of white-out at the upper left corner and a ½” x 1 ½” sticker at the lower right corner.  Original Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Gato Barbieri, Henry Grimes, and Ed Blackwell. $125.00.
