Description

Dominic Behan - Down By The Liffeyside (UK Topic 12T35 - 1960 Vg+ / Vg+)

Very rare, gorgeous screenprinted cover on this early Topic album - one of the very best of those designs in my opinion. Features Behan singing Irish street ballads, accompanied by Peggy Seeger on guitar and banjo, Leon Rosselson on guitar and Ralph Rinzler on mandolin.

'Single sheet' fully screenprinted cover is clean with some slight creasing on all 4 corners and a faint split in the front, top middle, but this does not affect the overall look (see images), 4 page insert with notes on the songs is clean and uncreased. Vinyl is clean and shiny with no marks at all, however it is slightly 'dished' resulting in a slight edge warp, but this does not affect the sound or playability. I have erred on the side of caution in the grading. Labels are clean and shiny with no spindle marks.

This album comes from a collection that has been stored carefully, unplayed for 30 years.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Will be dispatched in a strong plastic sleeve in a strong cardboard mailer with cardboard either side for extra protection.

Thanks for looking and be sure to check my other items.
