Description
Influential to the civil rights movement, this was Del jones first full length LP. An undisclosed amount was pressed but known that It was never mass produced. I am the second owner and only enjoyed it less then a few spins. I received it as apart of a small collection during a basement picking in west philly many years ago. I was told by the original owners son that he personally knew Del himself. This record and cover are both known not to be made in the best quality but this particular copy plays almost flawlessly and cover is great for its age. Regardless all of his original work is extremely rare and very scarce. Regarded as one of the best soul funk artists to come from Philadelphia, grab this today. The cover is graded conservatively at VG+. Light front right side ring wear, bumped lower left spine and very light moisture discoloration along opening.
The vinyl is also graded conservatively at VG+. Only afew light storage scuffs and 2 light scratches on side 2. Some light pops and ticks between songs but all expected for a vinyl record this old. I personally think it’s closer to EX but that’s just me. Ships in a poly lined sleeve outside of the cover.
