Description

This is an album signed by all five members of Deep Purple's Mark III. The album is "Machine Head", Deep Purple's best selling album of all time, which feature's their iconic hit "Smoke on the Water". The album is signed in gold felt-tip by Ian Gillian, Ian Paice, Jon Lord and Roger Glover. It is signed in silver felt-tip by Ritchie Blackmore.  I bought the album at a memorabilia shop called "Stars" in Aspen, Colorado in March, 1994. I have the original Bill of Sale but don't have a COA, and don't remember getting one when I bought the album. Please note in 1994 Gillian, Paice, Lord and Glover were with Deep Purple touring with Joe Satriani as lad guitarist and Blackmore was on his own, which could explain the different colored signatures.  The album is mounted on white matte, surrounded by a Deep Purple border, which in turn has a broader black border. The whole thing is in a black lacquer frame with a glass front. I just never found the right place to display this piece. In my old house it spent most of its life in a storage space in the attic and since I moved to my current house it has been in a closet. It is a fantastic display piece and deserves a better home!
