DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple LP- Made In Japan. In laminated gatefold sleeve. Contract press with rim 1/2" from edge of Gramophone text labels with 1st press characteristics of A1U/B1U/A1U/B1U , PORKY/DELTA PORK/ PECKO/PECKIE. No made in great britain label text or brackets on Made In Japan. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Purple TPS 3512 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYLS/COVER): VG/VG/VG+. Vinyls are both clean with a decent sheen and some light hairlines . Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds VG and better. Clear and loud with good seperation generally. Has an occasional soft tick in some quiet passages. "Child In Time" is usually a good test and it plays really wel. . Cover is firm and square and has not much more than light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
