DESCRIPTION: Major funk action to be had on this scarce & hard hitting library. Two killer cuts in the shape of the Soundbox compiled tunes ‘Onyx’ & ‘Moving Out’. Onyx kicks off with a super heavy fuzz bass hook, building with tight funk drumming, blaring horn riffs & soaring strings. The end result is an epic theme that seemed set for a major Euro cop thriller. ‘Moving Out’ is a driving big band funk theme, with stripped down, rough production. There are other impressive funk moments in ‘Black Angel’ & ‘Comin’ Up’. Recommended!
