Victoria De Los Angeles

Rafael Fruhbeck De Burgos/ Paris Conservatoire Orchestra

Cantos de Espana

(HMV ASD 505 UK LP 1962)

This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a large sized "Stereo" on the front. It has its original company "HMV" tracing-paper lined inner sleeve. It also comes with its original fold-out paper lyric translation insert.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has white & gold HMV labels. It has 1st press 2YLA 1142-1 and 2YLA 1143-1 matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st pressing.

Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is mild fading/ staining on the rear. There are a few small rub marks to the top edge. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve has left so me light to mild marks on the dead wax only. VG condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits. The lyric insert is in Good+ condition. It has a fair few creases & a couple of "X's" written in biro. There are no tears & it's totally complete.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a very few light clicks midway through Side 1. There are also some intermittent light clicks on another track on Side 1. These do not last too long.  There are a couple of light clicks midway through Side 2 too.
