David Bowie I Dig Everything 7" Advance Promotion Copy Pye 1966
Up for sale is a very rare Advance Promotion Copy of David Bowie's single I Dig Everything, released in 1966 by Pye. The B side features I'm Not Losing Sleep. This is an original record that was purchased over 40 years ago by my father and has been stored away in a record case since then with little use.
We recently had it tested and graded by a nearby specialist record store who stated that it was in "VG condition", however I'll give as detailed a description as I possibly can below. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask and I'll answer as best as I can.
SleeveThe sleeve is an original Pye records one which is in very good condition. The top right corner on one side has a little damage and some brown residue where a sticker originally was peeled off, other than that there aren't any bends or marks anywhere.
RecordBoth sides have a lot of fine hairline marks that you can only see when the light is shining on it at certain angles and the very edges are a bit scuffed. On the A side there are also a fair few light scratches that you can see normally as well as a small one which is a bit more visible - however you can't feel any of them if you run your finger across. On the B side there are also a fair few light scratches, but less than the A side and also not as noticeable.
The store we took it to tested the record and it plays perfectly fine with no jumping.
Inner LabelThe inner label is fully intact and none of the text has worn off, however on the A side there is a slightly dirty ring worn into it with age, and a circular scratch mark.
PostageUK shipping only. The record will be very securely packaged in between layers of bubble wrap and cardboard in a sturdy, slightly oversized box to make sure that if anything happens it won't be damaged. It'll be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (next day) with full insurance.
