Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1967 VENT RECORDS U.S. PRESS 'NORTHERN SOUL' 45 titled 'Call On Me' by The Dynells / 'Movin' On' by Larry Brown & Co. It is Vent Records catalog number V-1003, stock copy with blue labels with black print. 'Movin' On' is the instrumental track from 'Call On Me' with no vocals. Labels have the inscription 'Triangle Records - 625 W. Thompson St. - Phila., Pa.' at the bottom. This record is a Gamble-Huff production. This is an uptempo and very danceable tune. Visual condition of record is a high VG/low VG+ with some visible surface marks and small scuffs which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and three very tiny pinpoint size small surface scratches which cause ticks for three or four revolutions at the beginning of the A-side. Record otherwise plays very nicely with some very light background hiss. Labels have some contact wear; A-side label has a little writing in pencil. A nice addition to any 'Northern Soul' record collection!
