DWIGHT FISKE Songs His Mother Never Taught Him; Jubilee LP-17, apparently recorded in 1954, released 1955. Double-entendre story-songs with his piano accompaniment. Perhaps the premier risqué comedian of the 1930's and ‘40's; with his musical satires often tailored for sophisticated New York City nightclub audiences. Some may be remakes of 1930's-1940's private records on his own Fiscana or the Gala (which also had Nan Blakstone) labels. I have not head the originals, so I can't compare the versions.

VG to VG+ record and VG+ cover; lines & specks are from the scanner.
