Description
Duke Pearson "The Right Touch" Blue Note Records BST 84267 Original Stereo Blue and White Liberty LP. Audition Copy. Record: VG: There are a few light, superficial, inaudible sleeve scuffs and one small scratch you can feel and is a little crackly. Cover: VG+: The corners are very slightly dinged, there is some slight ring wear on the front and back covers and some very slight shelf wear on the bottom seam. Liberty Labels. Van Gelder stamp etched in the dead wax.
These records come from the collection of a legendary Jazz trumpet player who was active from the mid- 1950's- the late 1990s. They include promo copies of albums from the labels he was recording for at the time, sealed or very lightly used copies of albums given to him by other artists (mostly on independent labels) and just a general mix of Jazz albums from trumpet players he admired to his contemporaries. He did like to play his albums though. I've salvaged the best of what he had in general but if it was a rare album or a promo copy with a blemish or two, I'm listing those as well. These will be trickling in for the next few months.
