You are bidding for a CLASSIC US 50'S ROCK 'N' ROLL / DOOWOP 78 RPM single by THE DRIFTERS called RUBY BABY backed with YOUR PROMISE TO BE MINE issued on the ATLANTIC record label in the UK in 1955, cat number 1089 (RED AND BLACK LABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels .The record has little wear with few slight surface scuffs and or surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC US ROCK AND ROLL / DOOWOP from THE DRIFTERS with TWO CLASSIC ROCKING DOO WOP tracks. This was later covered by DION who had a big hit with it in the early 60's, Never issued as a single in the UK . RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.

10" 78 RPM RECORDS NEED CAREFULLY PACKING, PACKED BETWEEN 1" THICK POLYSTYRENE SLABS, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS WHICH IS THEN BOXED, THIS IS A FRAGILE 78 AND REQUIRES STRONG PACKAGING TO ENSURE SAFE DELIVERY.
USUALLY FOR MAILING OVERSEAS, I RECOMMEND NO MORE THAN 5 IN A BOX, OTHERWISE IT GOES OVER THE AIRMAIL SMALL PACKET MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF 2Kgs WHICH CAUSES A LARGE HIKE IN POSTAL RATES.
